Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh wish 'timeless' fielder Mohammad Kaif on birthday

Former India international Mohammad Kaif turned 43 on Friday. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar led the band of well-wishers and fans who extended birthday greetings to the former middle-order batter, best remembered for his athleticism in the field, on X (formerly Twitter). 

"Another year older, but your fielding skills remain timeless, my friend! Wishing you a fantastic birthday, Kaifu. Keep shining on and off the field!," the Master Blaster jotted on the microblogging site.

Meanwhile, another iconic Indian left-hand batter also wished Kaif on the special day via X. Yuvraj Singh's fun-filled greeting for his former teammate read, "Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also greeted Kaif via the social media platform. They shared a graphic on X to wish Kaif the best on the special day.


Kaif represented India in 125 ODIs and 13 Tests between 2000 and 2006. He captained the Under-19 World Cup-winning Indian team in 2000 before making it to the senior stage. Kaif featured for Rajasthan Royals in their victorious campaign in the inaugural season before serving as the assistant coach in the Gujarat Lions franchise.
