Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik wished his wife Sania Mirza on her birthday amid rumours of the couple heading towards divorce. The tennis star rang in her birthday with director Farah Khan, singer Ananya Birla and others. The couple has kept mum on rumours that they are headed for a divorce 12 years after being married.
As Mirza celebrated turning 36, Malik was not to be seen.
"Happy Birthday to you @MirzaSania. Wishing you a very healthy & happy life! Enjoy the day to the fullest..." Shoaib Malik posted on Twitter last night. He posted a lovely picture of the couple as well. The couple welcomed a son in October 2018. Mirza and Malik who got married in 2010, moved to Dubai after the wedding.
Farah Khan took to Instagram to share a birthday wish for the tennis star. “Happy birthday my darling @mirzasaniar .. only happiness n love for you this year n always, see I stayed awake.. p.s- happy birthday to sania mom too.. best person to share a birthday with.. ur mom @nasimamirza guest appearance @ananyabirla.” she wrote.
The divorce rumours were sparked by a post Mirza had shared on Instagram on November 8. "Where do broken hearts go? To find Allah," she wrote. Recently she also shared a picture with her son Izhan with the caption, "The moments that get me through the hardest days."
