Football legend Diego Maradona’s daughter Dalma called for justice for her father, who had passed away in November last year, after listening to the alleged audio messages between the Argentine’s neurosurgeon and psychiatrist on his final moments.

She said after listening to the messages, she vomited. Her sister Giannina was also disgusted by the audio clips.

Audio, video and WhatsApp messages, with regard to Maradona, that have been leaked are causing much controversy in Argentina.

“I just listened to the audios between Luque and the psychiatrist and I vomited! The only thing I ask God is that justice is done!” she wrote on social media.

“If the truth always triumphs, you two will go to prison. The lightness with which a private conversation on November 25 is published disgusts me,” Dalma said.

Maradona passed away on November 25, 2020 following a heart attack. He was 60.

The audio messages were allegedly exchanged between Luque and psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov on the day of Maradona’s death. Dalma holds neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque and her father’s lawyer and agent Matias Morla responsible for his death.

Luque had reportedly told a business partner on WhatsApp before Maradona’s death that “the fat man’s going to end up kicking the bucket,” the Daily Mail reported. The neurosurgeon has denied any wrongdoing.

A probe is still on to determine if there was any medical negligence that played a part in Maradona’s death.

In another leaked video, the Argentine is seen having soup and joking about, with his head bandaged after his surgery to remove a clot in the brain just days before his death. Media reports have said that this is the last footage of the football icon.
