Mixed Martial Arts fighter Ritu Phogat won her second MMA fight in style in Singapore, clinching the bout against Chinese Taipei's Wu Chiao Chen 2-0 by a unanimous decision win.
In the wake of the coronavirus cases, the 'King of the Jungle' event at the One Championship was held indoors and was played to empty galleries.
Phogat, who has a Commonwealth Games gold in wrestling, used her takedowns to perfection against Chiao Chen. The Indian fighter threw 181 strikes as opposed to the Chinese kickboxing champion's 43.

Phogat made her MMA debut in Beijing in November last year, winning the bout against her South Korean opponent Nam Hee Kim in three minutes and 37 seconds via a technical knockout.
Since then, she has been training in Singapore at the Evolve MMA Gym after signing the contract with One Championship last February.
MMA, a full-contact combat sport, incorporates techniques from different disciplines, including boxing, muay Thai, jiujitsu, taekwondo and wrestling, among others. It allows striking and grappling, both standing and on the mat.
