Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh posted a ‘major throwback’ picture on his social media, reminiscing the time when he received his maiden call-up to Team India.

Yuvraj, who announced his retirement from international cricket in June this year, earned his maiden call-up to the team ahead of the ICC Knockout Trophy in 2000. The image posted on Instagram shows Yuvraj along with Rahul Dravid and Vijay Dahiya during that tour.

“Major throwback to getting selected for the first time to play for team India,” he captioned the photo with the tags #proudmoment and #pricelessmemory.

The India all-rounder played 304 ODIs and 40 Tests during his career that spanned nearly 29 years. He scored 8,701 ODI runs at an average of 36.55 that included 14 centuries and 42 fifties in the 50-over format. He was also adjudged the man of the tournament in the 2011 World Cup, which India won.

Yuvraj scored 1,900 runs in Test cricket with an average of 33.92 that included three centuries and 11 fifties.
