The draw for this year’s UEFA Champions League has been announced, with the pairings in for the 26 teams given direct entry to the group stage and the six winners of the play-off ties.

The ceremony was held at Monaco, where the draw was picked by former Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder and former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, both Champions League winners.

Reigning champions Liverpool have been drawn in a relatively easy group, with only Napoli serving as a threat in a group that includes Salzburg and Genk.

The toughest group this year is Group F, which has Barcelona, Dortmund, Inter and Slavia Praha.

Another interesting group is H, where Europa League champions Chelsea will face Champions League semifinalist and giant-killer Ajax, Spanish Valencia, and French side Lille.
