India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first against the West Indies in the third and final T20I, in Guyana on Tuesday. A steady drizzle and a wet outfield delayed the start but no overs were lost.
India, who concluded the two-match US leg of the series by taking an unassailable 2-0 lead, rested vice-captain Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Khaleel Ahmed, bringing in K.L. Rahul, and handing debut to leg-spinner Rahul Chahar and pacer Deepak Chahar.
