Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bat first against Chennai Super Kings in the final of the Indian Premier League 2019, at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.

MI skipper Rohit Sharma said only one has been made to their playing XI—Mitchell McClenaghan comes in for Jayant Yadav. There were no changes to Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK.

Both teams have won three IPL titles each. Mumbai Indians, though, have a slightly upper hand, having beaten CSK thrice this season.
