Chennai Super Kings won the toss and chose to bat first against Mumbai Indians in the Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2019, at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.

Defending champions CSK have made one change to their playing XI, bringing in Murali Vijay in place of injured Kedar Jadhav. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have brought in spinner Jayant Yadav for Mitchell McClenaghan.

CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni rightly called heads at the toss. Interestingly, Chennai Super Kings have won 22 times in Chepauk and lost just five, when Dhoni has got it right at the toss.

The winner of this match will go directly into the May 12 final. The loser will play against the winner of the Eliminator match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, on May 10.
