World-record holder Usain Bolt brushed aside the challenge from a Peruvian tuk-tuk in Lima on Tuesday.

The Jamaican sprinter beat the rickshaw at a canter over 50 metres, cheekily looking back over his shoulder to smile at the driver, much to the delight of the crowd.

The three-time Olympic champion over both 100m and 200m finished things off with his trademark lightning bolt celebration.

Event organisers chose the 'moto-taxi' as it is the emblematic vehicle of many Peruvian cities.

Bolt is visiting Lima as part of promotional campaign for the Pan American Games in Lima later this year.
