Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup on Tuesday.

Skipper Rohit Sharma and his opener partner Shikhar Dhawan have been rested for this match.

In the absence of both the captain and vice-captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni will step in and take charge of the team. This match marks Dhoni's 200th ODI as captain.

India are riding high from having won every single match in the tournament so far, and will look to keep the momentum going Afghanistan as well.

Afghanistan, who are already out of contention, will look to display an impressive performance against India before they exit from the Asia Cup. Afghanistan came close to booking a spot in the final, having given both Pakistan and Bangladesh a scare, but were outplayed in the last few games.
