A new age business networking app developed by two young Indians helps in connecting you to your professional requirements
Our lives, today, are connected through various forms of social networking platforms, but rarely through a medium that keeps it strictly professional. Yes, there is LinkedIn, but apart from that how many of us are aware of other business networking platforms? Well , it seems there are other such networking sites available for your professional needs and we came across one such site developed by two Indians.
Dysco, created by Mumbai-based siblings Khrisha Shah and Mishal Shah, is a business networking app that helps you get connected to a like-minded professional network. The app helps people find skills, discover talent to hire people, advertise your business, etc.
Currently we see that more and more people have started their own business and want to work with people in an independent environment. Our work places are no longer those tall, glass buildings and meetings no longer takes place in those huge conference rooms. Instead we connect with people on social media and get our meetings done in a local cafe or restaurant. And if you own a business, you will find yourself to outsource some work that requires particular skill at sometime. For example a fashion blogger might look for brands to wear, a photographer for make-up artists to collaborate with, a chef may look for restaurant owners to bounce ideas , an entrepreneur for a designer, a journalist might look to interview an author. These are the few case scenarios where this app comes handy.
Through Dysco you can share your work-related video links, audio clips, blog posts, articles and photos. The app lets you browse profiles based on profession and also lets you search nearby people you are looking for skill set in your locality. What you find on Dysco is connected to your city, your interests and your social network.
The app features a number of industry categories, which include branding, marketing & PR, weddings & events, travel & hospitality, web, tech & innovation, fashion styling & blogging, etc. Currently it is still under beta testing phase. You can go to their website and download the beta version.
