Ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and The Dialogue are all set to host an event on multilateral AI partnerships.

This event will take place in Washington D.C. on Tuesday from 12 PM EST (10: 30 PM IST) to 4 PM (2:30 AM IST on Wednesday), and will see a number of executives from Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), OpenAI, the Indian embassy in the US, FICCI, and more in attendance.

While the ITIF is a US-based think-tank specialising in global science and technology policy, The Dialogue is a research-oriented think-tank focused on policy discourse in India.

This pre-Summit event involves three panel discussions relating to topics to be discussed at the 2026 India AI Impact Summit from February 16-20.

Panel 1

The first event, titled 'Scaling AI Adoption Through Skills, Deployment, and Trust', focuses on the levels of AI adoption in various countries across the world and the factors that help or harm this progress.

Drawing on information and case studies from both India and the US, the panel will examine how the usage of AI in sectors like public services, healthcare, and agriculture, translates into productivity gains, improved service delivery, and inclusive growth.

"The goal is to surface concrete examples and shared challenges that can inform a more coordinated approach to supporting AI adoption across diverse national contexts," the ITIF statement read.

Panel 2

The second event, titled 'Compute Equity and Interoperable Safeguards: Bridging the Global Divide', looks at the 'Compute Corridor', and the importance of US-India AI collaboration on factors like "heterogeneous compute access, resilient data centers, and secure supply chains".

It also looks at safety standards for such AI collaborations.

Panel 3

The third event, titled 'Developing a Shared Roadmap for AI Policy and Innovation', examines the policies and governance models needed to establish and/or maintain a safe, thriving AI ecosystem.
