Barely a week after the launch of the OnePlus 15 5G, the Chinese smartphone maker has quietly teased the launch of the OnePlus 15R 5G.
The latest offering from the R series comes with OxygenOS 16, and is reportedly a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6T, set to release in China sometime this month.
OnePlus has officially teased the OnePlus Ace 6T, launching this month (November 2025) in China. This could potentially launch in India and globally as the OnePlus 15R, featuring a camera deco similar to the OnePlus 15.

The main talking point of the OnePlus 15R will likely be its performance, as the OnePlus Ace 6T is expected to be the first smartphone in the world to get the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The latter's possible 8,000 mAh battery, 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage are also major talking points.
The OnePlus Ace 6T is also rumoured to have a 6.7-inch OLED screen, and a 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
The OnePlus 15R is expected to have the same rear camera module as the OnePlus 15, but possibly with a dual camera setup—a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens—in the back, like the OnePlus Ace 6T.
This led to a number of netizens calling out OnePlus for possibly not including a telephoto lens in the 15R.
"It's giving (OnePlus) 13s vibes, but why the camera downgrade, fam? We need answers!" an X user wrote.

"Let me guess no telephoto and 45k?" another X user questioned.

"Power On ... Telephoto Off" a third user quipped on X.

OnePlus 15 launch
The OnePlus 15, launched barely a week ago on November 13, is the smartphone maker's newest flagship, and a successor to the OnePlus 13.
Featuring a 6.78-inch LTPO 1.5K ProXDR display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, the OnePlus 15 comes with a whopping 7,300 mAh battery.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, it runs on OxygenOS 16 (based on Android 16) and offers up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
Unlike the 15R, the OnePlus 15 houses three 50MP rear cameras—a main camera, ultrawide sensor, and a telephoto lens—as well as a 32MP front camera.
The base variant (12 GB RAM & 256 GB storage) of the OnePlus 15 is priced at Rs 72,999, while the top variant (16 GB RAM & 512 GB storage) is priced at Rs 79,999. It comes in three colours—Sand Storm, Infinite Black, and Ultra Violet.
