What you need to know as Redmi Note 6 Pro is launched today

Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Note 6 Pro today. The successor to Redmi Not 5 Pro will be launched at Delhi and will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com on a flash sale.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro is set to be a star in the category of phones under Rs.20,000. Its biggest Usp is the camera— On the back there is a main 12-megapixel sensor on the back with Dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture, and a secondary sensor of 5-megapixel for depth sensing. On the front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a primary sensor of 20-megapixel and a secondary camera with 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots.

The new phone has certain upgrades from the 5 Note Pro like, regarding the display, battery performance, and software. The 6.26-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD full screen display is so good, it lets you watch an movie on Netflix or Amazon in daylight.

The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 SoC comes with two variants— 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and one with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.  Note 6 Pro supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) connectivity and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the latest version of MIUI skin on top.

The larger 4000 mAh battery supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0. Without heavy usage, the battery life will last for one and half day. The phone will be priced at Rs.15,999 for the 4 GB variant & Rs.16,999 for the 6 GB variant. And it will be available in colours— red, blue, black, and rose gold.
