Cryptocurrency may be still on the boundaries of legality but the blockchain technology behind it is seeing far more acceptance with the latest being religion.

Former CEO of cryptocurrency company Augur, Matt Liston, and artist Avery Singer reportedly collaborated to found a blockchain-based religion called 0xO (Zero Ex Omega), TheNextWeb reported.

Zero Ex Omega is explained as a consensus network based structure for religious belief and ritual. It will use mindsharing and individual interaction with a religious structure where the structure itself is god.

If this becomes mainstream, it will probably be the first instance of decentralization of God.
