Eid Al Etihad: From Emitari superstars to heritage villages, what to expect in Sharjah from Nov 19 to Dec 2

Eid Al Etihad, which is celebrated on December 2, marking the union of the seven emirates in the UAE, will see extensive events in the coming weeks.

The official opening will be held at Al Siyouh Family Park on November 19. The festivities will continue till December 2.

There will be daily activities in Sharjah National Park from November 19 to December 2. Kshisha Park, a recreational park in Al Rahmaniyah suburb, will also have similar activities. These will include children shows, youth panels and traditional performances.

The heritage village in the coastal settlement of Al Hamriyah will host classic car exhibitions and traditional performances between November 20 and 22.

Another heritage village in Mleiha will witness folk dances and military bands on November 20 and 21.

On November 21, the operetta, Pulse of the Nation, will be conducted in Khor Fakkan.

Bicycle parade and other cultural performances are scheduled at Al Rifa'a Park in Mughaider Suburb on November 21 and 22.

In the city of Kalba, annual operetta and fireworks will kick off on November 22. On the same day, a national parade and fireworks will be held at Dibba Al Hisn, Sharjah's pene-exclave bordering Oman.

Al Madam town will have cultural discussions and screenings on November 22 and 23.

Wadi Al Helo, a seasonal watercourse and village in the Hajar Mountains, will be live with poetry recitations and student acts on November 23.

Al Dhaid, the capital of the Central Region of Sharjah, will see a heritage market and a grand parade from November 26 to 30.

Al Bataeh, located on the Sharjah outskirts, will witness folk performances and parades from November 27 to 29.

Al Khrous suburb will have several events, including parades, on November 28.

Al Layyah Canal will be one of the celebrations venues this year. It will witness festivities, performances and family business displays from November 28 to December 2.
