Maritime infrastructure has been pointed out as one of the key domains characterised by complexity, safety, and scale, which is why it needs to be a part of the long-term AI vision behind events like the summit.
“This pre-event will examine real-world AI deployments across ports and maritime operations, with a focus on operational optimisation, safety, resilience and policy readiness, moving decisively beyond concepts and pilots,” the V.O.C. Port wrote in an X post inviting registrations.
This comes ahead of the port’s own event at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, which is scheduled to take place at 10:30 AM on February 17.
