More than 10 suspects in the Tiger Shroff attack case have been arrested so far, with Haryana engineer Pranjal Thakran now the 11th to be nabbed for his alleged role in supporting the shooters.

The 22-year-old is suspected of providing logistical and other essential support to the shooters; the three main accused—Phool Singh, Ritik Kurmi (alias Roshan), and Rehan (alias Sukka)—who have been remanded in police custody till October 31.

The police also suspect that Pranjal holds crucial information related to the wider conspiracy behind the Bishnoi gang-claimed attack on Tiger Shroff last week, as well as the network involved in supplying the weapons used in the case.

Local media reports claim that his elder brother had been receiving treatment in Indore for the past five months after being transferred there on the advice of doctors in Delhi, though the nature of his ailment is not yet known.

It was when Pranjal came to Indore five days ago that Mumbai Crime Branch and the Indore Crime Branch teams traced and arrested him.

The October 18 attack on Tiger Shroff at Mumbai's Juhu area had seen the three shooters try to kill the Bollywood actor after playing football. He managed to escape unscathed, though two others were injured.

The multi-state probe into the Bishnoi gang-claimed attack has also led to the recovery of two pistols and 10 cartridges from Surat, Gujarat, on Friday.

It is yet to be revealed how these munitions are connected to the case, especially since these were recovered just days after the arrest of suspects Samir and Jatin earlier this week by the Mumbai Police.

Jatin, the ninth accused in the case, was accused of procuring the weapons used in the attack, and has also been linked to suspects (like Kunal) with connections to Anil Pandit, the alleged Bishnoi gang member who claimed responsibility for the attack alongside Harman Sandhu.

Kunal was allegedly involved in not just procuring a pistol and 20 rounds, but also offering ₹12,000 each to two other accused for the transport of these munitions to Mumbai.
