As the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) intensifies its campaign demanding the ouster of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, a new group has emerged in Delhi to counter the CJP's claims. The Laal Hit Janta Party held its first membership meeting at Malviya Smriti Bhawan on Sunday.

The party's chief, Ayan Bhatnagar and other representatives targeted the CJP, Congress and protesters during the event. The outfit urged the youngsters to engage in democratic processes through peaceful protests, factual communication and legal framework.

"Nation First, Respect for the Constitution, Democracy as Our Identity," is the party's motto, said Bhatnagar, adding that they are guided by the principle, "Strong in Opposition, Peaceful in Action, Committed to the Nation."

PTI reported that the gathering was addressed by Laal Hit Janta Party convenor Bhatnagar and filmmakers Richa Gupta, Pawan Nagpal and Atul Gangwar.

The organisation stressed the importance of maintaining the independence and credibility of constitutional institutions, including the Election Commission.

It urged public debate on electoral processes to be guided by verified evidence, transparent procedures and constitutional mechanisms.

It also highlighted national security, infrastructure development, entrepreneurship, digital services and public welfare as key areas for discussion.

The organisation said that peaceful protests are an important democratic right, but urged organisers to remain mindful of their impact on traders, workers, commuters and local communities.

According to the statement, the Laal Hit Janta Party seeks to promote national development, constitutional values, citizens' welfare and responsible civic participation. It said the meeting also discussed future initiatives in civic awareness, community outreach, organisational transparency and responsible public communication.

Bhatnagar further added that the party was not formed to contest elections. "We stand against CJP and its protests. We oppose cockroaches who want to weaken the country's democracy and attempt to create anarchy in the country," he said.

The new outfit's emergence comes at a time when the CJP and the Opposition are strengthening their protests against the CEC and the alleged voter deletions from the SIR electoral rolls.
