A man from Gurugram jumped off the balcony of Supernova Spira, a building in Noida’s Sector 94, on Saturday.

Police said the incident took place under the Sector 126 Police Station jurisdiction.

The deceased, Sambhave Jain, was a resident of IMT Maneswar in Gurugram. Reports of his age are inconsistent; local reports say he was anywhere from 29 to 35.

The man jumped from the 43rd floor of their building. His body was scattered and blood splattered as soon as he hit the ground.

A video of the incident also circulated on social media. The clip shows the man hanging off the railing of the 43rd floor of the 80-storey building.

He remained hanging off the railing for 2-3 seconds.

Another person was also seen on the floor. However, before he could intervene, the man jumped.

Police officers and a team from the Forensic Science Lab arrived at the scene to collect evidence. Officers had to carry the body away in a bag.

Preliminary reports suggest the man took the extreme step due to financial difficulties.

Police are also examining the CCTV footage installed in the vicinity to track the suspect's movements before he took the step.

The residents of the floor are also being questioned.

Police said that Sambhav, son of Vinay Kumar Jain, had rented room number 4228 on October 2. he checked in at 2: 30 pm; at 11: 27 an on Saturday, he climbed to the balcony,

AC technicians working in the neighbouring 4227 saw Jain and tried to convince him to come down.

Sambhav reportedly told them that he was depressed and did not want to live.

The deceased man also reportedly recorded a video of himself before the incident.

He mentioned financial hardships and said that he was planning to die by suicide.

The police have collected the video as part of the investigation. A WhatsApp chat between him and his father was also found.
