After the meeting of the India Bloc on Wednesday, Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge announced that all the MPs from the Non -BJP parties will march to the Election Commission on October 6 to register their protest against the poll body chief Gyanesh Kumar.
The announcement comes amid the ongoing row over the functioning of the EC and the role of the CEO.

Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that the opposition will ensure that those involved in destroying Indian Democracy will be punished.
The India Bloc is also planning to hold district-level Save Democracy marches and will stage demonstrations outside the office of every district magistrate from October 2 to 8.
Gandhi said that the Opposition leaders are the "collective defenders" of India's Constitution and "will bring serious changes in the country" as he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar of "attacking" democracy.
"The main issue was 'vote chori'. Every party has an opinion that BJP, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Gyanesh Kumar have attacked Indian democracy,” Gandhi said while addressing the media.
"This is a personal commitment of all INDIA leaders -- we are going to ensure that the people who have destroyed Indian democracy are punished; it doesn't matter how senior they are, who they are; Indian democracy is bigger than every single person in this country," he added.
The alliance by the opposition is also set to meet with President Draupadi Murmu in the second week of October.
The leaders of the opposition will submit a representation outlining what Kharge described as the difficulties they were facing and the constitutional issues.
The Congress has called for the rollback of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, asserting that the "ballot belongs to people of the country".
Kharge also announced that the the rallies will continue until November.
"November 1 will see a huge rally in Delhi, where we will explain the 'vote chori' by the Election Commission," he said.
"Further, all the INDIA bloc leaders will appeal to the Supreme Court to expedite the pending cases pertaining to SIR and other electoral malpractices," Kharge said.
