Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal, who was allegedly murdered by his fiancée Siya Goyal and her lover in June by pushing him off from Lohagad Fort cliff in Pune, had reportedly tattooed Siya's name on his back as a birthday gift for her shortly before his death, his father Vishal Agarwal has claimed.
Recalling the days leading up to the alleged murder, Vishal said Ketan had been preparing to celebrate Siya's birthday and had planned the tattoo as a special gift.
According to him, the family was also looking forward to Ketan and Siya's upcoming wedding and had been making preparations for their engagement.
Vishal said the family had gone shopping for Siya and bought 28 dresses selected by her and 15 sets of gold jewellery.
The tattoo revelation comes as Ketan's father continues to seek action over his son's death and raises questions about others he believes should figure in the investigation.
A few days ago, Vishal said the Pune Rural Police had filed a chargesheet in court and that he had formally sought a copy.
He said the complete details of the case would become clear only after he examined the chargesheet. However, he argued that the names or alleged involvement of Siya's father Pravin Goyal, mother Pooja Pravin Goyal, brother Sahil Pravin Goyal, paternal aunt Renu Narendra Mittal and uncle Narendra Jagarnath Mittal should be included.
Vishal has also sought the appointment of special lawyer Ujjwal Nikam as special public prosecutor in his son's murder case.
According to police, Siya and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary conspired to murder Ketan by pushing him off a cliff. Police said they initially attempted to portray his death as an accidental fall.
Siya and Chetan were arrested in June.
