The Northern Railway has made changes to train operations from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13 due to operational reasons. As a result, some trains have been cancelled while others are diverted.
The schedules of around 120 trains passing through the Delhi division have reportedly been changed. This will impact major trains like the Rajdhani, Tejas Rajdhani, Vande Bharat, and Poorva Express, as well as several EMU services. It is most likely to affect train journeys via New Delhi, Delhi Junction, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Palwal, Delhi Shahdara, and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations.
Apart from cancellations and diversions, some trains have had their routes changed, rescheduled, or have had their starting stations and destinations changed. Thus, for the next two days, passengers are advised to check their train numbers on "Where is My Train" and similar platforms for changes in departure times and originating/terminating stations.

In addition, the routes of the Sampoorna Kranti Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin–Ghaziabad EMU, and Ghaziabad–Mathura Junction EMU have also been changed. On this day, the Palwal–Shakurbasti, Ghaziabad–New Delhi, New Delhi–Palwal Ladies, and Delhi Junction–Shamli EMU services will remain cancelled.

Several EMU services will also be affected on September 12. The Ghaziabad–New Delhi, New Delhi–Ghaziabad, and New Delhi–Palwal Ladies EMU services, among several other local trains, will remain cancelled. The Palwal–Shakurbasti EMU will also be cancelled due to RLDA work in Faridabad. On this day, the Gomti, Shramjeevi, New Delhi–Sealdah Rajdhani, New Delhi–Howrah Rajdhani, Vaishali, and Magadh Express trains will run on diverted routes. One Vande Bharat train will also be regulated by 35 minutes.

Train operations in the Delhi division will continue to be affected on September 13. The Palwal–Ghaziabad, Ghaziabad–Delhi Junction, Sahibabad–Delhi Junction, Ghaziabad–Shakurbasti, and New Delhi–Ghaziabad EMU services will remain cancelled on this day. In addition, the Shiv Ganga Express, Saharanpur–Delhi Junction Passenger, Meerut Cantt–Sri Ganganagar Special, Mathura Junction–Ghaziabad EMU, and Palwal–Ghaziabad EMU will run on diverted routes.

The departure timings of some long-distance trains have been changed on September 11. The New Delhi–Hyderabad Express and Grand Trunk Express will be rescheduled by 120 minutes, while the Paschim Express will run 90 minutes late. On September 12, the Tejas Rajdhani, Bhubaneswar Tejas Rajdhani, Rajendra Nagar Terminal Tejas Rajdhani, and Tamil Nadu Express will depart late. In addition, the Haryana Express will originate from New Delhi. The New Delhi–Aligarh EMU will originate from Ghaziabad, while the terminals of MEMU services 64582 and 64557 have also been changed.

On September 13, some trains will terminate at stations other than their scheduled destinations.
