The follow-up video, captioned “Thanks to the youngsters who watched my video yesterday and sent insightful suggestions,” has over 11 crore views and 8 lakh likes. PM Modi’s Instagram account currently has over 10 crore followers.
In the 40-second clip, he expresses gratitude for the opportunity to connect with the youth. Thanking them for the responses to the initial video, Modi added: “I hope your love and support continue and that our bond grows even stronger and more active.”
Netizens flocked to the comment section, sharing different views and opinions about the message. Amongst the users was Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Founder Abhijeet Dipke, who shared a meme with the question, “What is wrong with you”? The message comes a day after the PM released a selfie video announcing that the government would take stricter measures to prevent examination paper leaks. He also mentioned that the government has arrested the culprits responsible for the incident. The video has now garnered over 30 crore views.
Union Ministers J P Nadda and Jitendra Singh are to hold a third round of talks with the CJP on Saturday.
