Prince, the brother of Bihar coaching educator Raushan Anand, has died under suspicious circumstances in Nepal.
Raushan Sir, as he is known by his students, is currently in jail over a vandalism case in Patna.
Preliminary information says Prince was drunk during his time of death.
Nepal police have detained five of his friends. The exact cause of his death will be determined after an autopsy.
Earlier this month, a vandalism incident brought the rivalry between Raushan Sir and Faisal Khan into public light.
Faisal Khan had accused Raushan Sir of inciting vandalism at his institute. He had previously accused Anand of orchestrating bomb attacks and instigating an assault on his staff.
The accusations were mutual. Raushan Sir had accused Khan of conspiring against him and accused him of being behind the vandalism episode at his coaching centre in 2023.
Anand was arrested following the case, while Faisal Khan secured interim relief.
Prince was named as an accused in the vandalism case. He was living in Nepal with six other friends.
Advocate Niranjan Kumar Singh, who represents Roshan Anand, alleged that the event leading to Prince’s death raised serious questions.
“We received a phone call in the morning informing us about the incident. This is an immense tragedy. There can hardly be a greater hardship or a more devastating blow than this. One son is in jail, and another has died under such suspicious circumstances," he said
Following the incident, security was increased at the Khan Global Studies in Patna with police being deployed outside the coaching centre.
