Two men who allegedly gang-raped a 25-year-old woman ad threw her out of a moving van in Faridabad on Monday night were arrested by police on Tuesday.

Their van, a Maruti Suzuki Eeco, was spotted in a CCTV footage and seized by police.

The woman suffered severe injuries on her face and required 12 stitches.

The police complaint revealed that the woman had an argument with mother and left her house around 8.30 pm. She informed her sister that she was heading to a female friend's place. She left for home around midnight but could find any public transport from Metro Chowk to her home near Kalyanpuri Chowk. Eventually, she accepted a lift in a van occupied by two men.

However, the accused diverted the van towards Gurugram. They rode the vehicle through forested area amid thick fog for close to three hours as they took turns to rape her.

Around 3 am on Tuesday, they pushed her out of the van in Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar, a residential area in Faridabad. Once the accused fled, the survivor immediately contacted her sister. The latter found her injured on a roadside and rushed her to Badshah Khan Hospital. 

The accused hail from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and currently stay in Faridabad.
