Deepti Chaurasia, the daughter-in-law of Kamal Kishore, the businessman behind the well-known brand Kamla Pasand and Rajshree’s pan masala, died by suicide on Tuesday evening. Hse was found hanging by her dupatta at their family’s home in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar.

Police officers recovered a diary from the site where Deepti, 40, outlines a dispute with her partner, Harpreet Chaurasia, who is the son of Kamal Kishore.

Quotes from her diary include “If there is no love and trust in a relationship, what is the point of life?" The couple got married in 2010 and has a 14-year-old son together

A suicide note was also found on the floor nearby, which simply read “No Love No Trust”

Her body has been sent for a post-mortem after examination at the Safdarjung Hospital. Preliminary investigation shave found no evidence of murder or external pressure.

The suicide note is also undergoing forensic examination. The note does not contain any allegations against anyone. However, Deepti’s family has filed a complaint alleging the in-laws abetted the suicide.

Reposts say that Harpreet allegedly got married twice. His second wife is a south indian film actress.
