Bihar poll of exit polls predict NDA victory as Mahagathbandhan trails, Prashant Kishor fails to woo voters

The majority mark in Bihar assembly stands at 122 and most of the surveys predicted that the NDA could win from 133 to 167 seats

The exit polls has predicted a landslide victory for the National Democratic Alliance, as per six surveys. The majority mark in Bihar assembly stands at 122 and most of the surveys predicted that the NDA could win from 133 to 167 seats.

The Mahagathbandhan is expected to bag 70 to 103 seats, going by the exit polls. The surveys predicted single-digit seats for Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party, with one poll suggesting victory in up to five constituencies.

JVC exit poll

NDA – 135-150
Mahagathbandhan – 88-103
Jan Suraaj – 0-1
Others – 3-1

JVC survey has predicted that NDA will continue in power, with 135 to 150 seats while Mahagathbandhan could bag up to 103 seats. Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj is likely to win a single seat while other parties could win up to three seats.

Dainik Bhaskar exit poll

NDA – 145–160
Mahagathbandhan – 73-91
Jan Suraaj: 0-3
Others: 5-7

Dainik Bhaskar survey predicts that NDA could win 145 to 160 seats while the INDIA bloc is set to claim 73 to 91 seats. Other parties are likely to win up to seven seats while Jan Suraaj could bag three seats, according to the poll.

Matrize exit poll

NDA – 147-167
Mahagathbandhan – 70-90
Jan Suraaj – 0-2
Others – 2-8

Matrize exit poll pegged NDA victory at 147 to 167 seats while INDIA bloc was slated to clinch 70 to 90 constituencies. Prashant Kishor's JSP could win up to two seats while other parties are likely to stake claim in up to eight constituencies.

People's Insight exit poll

NDA – 133-148
Mahagathbandhan – 87-102
Jan Suraaj – 0-2
Others – 3-6

NDA is expected to win 133 to 148 seats, as per People's Insight survey. On the other hand, the Mahagathbandhan is predicted to claim 87 to 102 seats while JSP was slated to bag two seats. Other parties could win three to six constituencies.

People's Pulse exit poll

NDA – 133-159
Mahagathbandhan – 75-101
Jan Suraaj – 0-5
Others – 2-8

People's Pulse forecast that 133 to 159 seats could go to NDA while the INDIA bloc could be reduced to 75 to 101 seats. They also predicted up to five seats for JSP and up to right for other parties.

P-Marq exit poll

NDA – 142-162
Mahagathbandhan – 80-98
Jan Suraaj – 1-4
Others – 0-3

P-Marq survey predicted a thumping victory for NDA with 142 to 162 seats while INDIA bloc is expected to win in 80 to 98 constituencies. JSP could bag up to four seats while three constituencies could go to minor parties.

However, it should be noted that exit polls have gone wrong several times in the past. So we have to wait until the final results on November 14 to find out whether Nitish Kumar-led NDA or Tejashwi Yadav-led Mahagathbandhan will lead the new Bihar government.
