The German Research Centre for Geosciences, GFZ, said that an earthquake of magnitude 6.07 struck India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Sunday.

The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometres, the GFZ said.

The National Centre for Seismology said the magnitude was 5.4 and that the quake struck at a depth of 90 kilometres.
