Footage from the Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport CCTV cameras showed that Jordan Joseph Peter Fitz Patrick, the British National who is now being hunted by police officials, slipped past the immigration e-visa area, exited the terminal, and went toward Delhi. An investigation is currently underway to trace the man and to find out how the man managed to leave the airport without completing immigration procedures. He has now been on the run for 10 days.

Immigration officials and CISF found that the passenger had fled the immigration area on the morning of October 29. “The CCTV footage showed Patrick scaling the flap gate at the immigration e-visa counter and exiting the airport from the arrival gate along with other passengers around 7.30 am. He was further seen going towards the city side,” an officer said.

Patrick had arrived in Delhi from Bangkok on October 28 and was supposed to take a connecting flight to Delhi on the same day. However, officials said that Patrick reached the airport late and missed his flight. Instead of staying at the airport, he just walked out of the terminal. Deputy commissioner of police Vichitra Veer said that a case has been registered and that police teams are trying to find the man with the help of technical and human intelligence. He also said that the airline staff who were present at the airport during his arrival were questioned.

A Central Industrial Security Force CISF official also clarified that the arrival terminal falls under the jurisdiction of the immigration bureau and the customs. "CISF personnel do not operate inside the arrival terminal. Our deployment is limited to the terminal entry and exit points. The management inside the arrival terminal is handled by other government agencies."

Multiple teams from the Delhi police, including the special cell and crime branch, the Bureau of Immigration, the CISF, the Intelligence Bureau, and other agencies, are looking for the British man

Investigators have also searched nearby hotels around the airport for Patrick.
