Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Delhi on Sunday after he complained of chest pain. The health condition of Dhankar is stable, doctors said.
As per reports, the vice president was rushed to the hospital at around 2am after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness. The 73-year-old was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the cardiology department in the hospital and a medical team has been monitoring his condition.

A team led by Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of Department of Cardiology at AIIMS is attending to Dhankar and sources in the know of development say the vice president’s health condition is stable, and he is under observation.
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited the hospital and enquired about the health condition of the vice president.
