Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya tied the knot with Sivasri Skandaprasad on Thursday. The wedding was attended by Union Ministers, BJP leaders from various states and close family members.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Arjun Ram Meghwal and V Sommana blessed the couple. Other BJP leaders included Karnataka party president B.Y. Vijayendra, K. Annamalai, Pratap Simha and Amit Malavya.
Who is Sivasri Skandaprasad?
Sivasri Skandaprasad hails from Chennai is a multi-talented artiste who is well-versed in Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam, Sanskrit and visual arts. She was trained in Carnatic music by Guru A.S. Murali. She is also passionate about recitation, painting and modelling.

Sivasri pursued bioengineering from Sastra University and completed her Masters in Bharanatyam from the University of Madras. She also has a diploma in Ayurvedic cosmetology. On Instagram, she has more than 1.13 lakh followers while on YouTube, she has over two lakh subscribers.
As part of the Indian Centre for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Sivasri has represented India during the cultural exchange tours to South Korea and Denmark.
Sivasri opted for a yellow Kanchipuram silk saree and gold jewellery while in another ceremony she was spotted in a crimson saree. The couple first met at a concert in Chennai and their bond deepened over time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Sivasri's Kannada rendition of a devotional song ahead of the consecration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple last year, saying "such efforts will help preserved our rich cultural heritage".
Talking about Tejasvi Surya, the Parliamentarian is currently the president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.
