Raking up the 'Parivarvad' attack against the Opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the opposition sacrificed the nation for the welfare of their family while he sacrificed himself for the country.
Addressing party cadres in Telangana, Modi said, “They say that they have ideological differences with me. They believe in 'Family First', and I believe in 'Nation First'. For them, their family is everything; for me, my country is everything. They sacrifice the Nation for the welfare of their family; I have sacrificed myself for the welfare of the Nation.”
Modi said Congress and its allies are attacking him and his family since he is bringing their scams to light. “Congress and its alliance partners are abusing me and my family. Do you know why they are abusing me? The reason why the mere sight of me makes them restless is because I am unveiling their secrets and scams. I never make personal comments on anyone,” Modi said. He added, “I just say that they are 'Parivarvadi'. When I oppose 'Parivarvad' and say 'Parivarvad' does not let talent grow and hinders the growth of the country as well as the individuals, they do not reply. They say Modi ka koi pariwar hi nahi hai"
Modi “guaranteed” that in the next few years, India will become the third largest economy in the world. He said that he donates a part of his salary to people whenever he gets a chance
PM Modi said he donates a part of his salary whenever possible. “The monthly payment that I receive from the government, whenever I get a chance, I donate some of it to people. 'Parivarvadis' have taken expensive gifts while being in the government and have converted their black money into white through gifts. Modi said till date, he has deposited all the gifts in Toshakhana and it is auctioned and whatever money comes, it is invested in the service of Mother Ganga.”
