The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam on Saturday released an Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated audio clip of late party leader Jayalalithaa on her 76th birthday.

In the AI voice clip, the former chief minister could be heard seeking support to party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Jayalalithaa also recalled the AIADMK government's welfare initiatives and urged the public to strengthen Palaniswami's hands in establishing people's rule.

“Makkalal naan, makkalukkagave naan (I am because of the people, I am for the people),” she could be heard saying.

Popularly known as 'Amma' (meaning Mother) and 'Puratchi Thalavi' (revolutionary leader), Jayalalithaa  breathed her last on December 5, 2016 after being under treatment for more than 75 days.
