7-feet-6-inches tall former Punjab cop, popular for appearances in US TV show, arrested with heroin

A former Punjab police constable and a former participant in the popular reality TV show 'America's Got Talent', who is said to be the tallest Sikh in the world at 7 feet 6 inches, has been arrested with 500 grams of heroin.

According to media reports, Jagdeep Singh alias Deep Singh, was arrested with two of his associates.

Heroin was recovered from an SUV driven by Singh in Tarn Taran district, PTI quoted a senior police officer as saying.

Singh reportedly used to roam around in a vehicle that had a sticker saying 'Punjab Police'.

Singh, who quit the force, made several performances in Season 14 of America's Got Talent. He was part of the Bir Khala Group, that made it to the quarterfinals of the show.

Singh also made an appearance in 'America's Got Talent: All-Stars', 'India's Got Talent', which is the Indian version of the US realty show and 10th season of 'Australia's Got Talent'.
