After the latest trends show Congress being poised to form government in Telangana, ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K.T. Rama Rao expressed his disappointment over his party performance.

According to the latest update by the Election Commission (at 5:30 pm), INC had won 23 seats and is leading in 40. While, BRS has won 11 seats and is leading in 29 seats.

“Grateful to the people of Telangana for giving @BRSparty two consecutive terms of Government,” said KTR on X.

He also added that he is not saddened by the result but surely disappointed.

“Not saddened over the result today, but surely disappointed as it was not in expected lines for us. But we will take this in our stride as a learning and will bounce back,” said KTR.

Congratulations to Congress party on winning the mandate, he added.

Also, trolling himself in an earlier post, KTR said that “this one is not gonna age well” and he missed the mark. Earlier the counting, he had posted on X saying “Hattrick Loading 3.0 Get ready to celebrate guys”.

Chants of ‘CM-CM’ echoed when Congress state president Revanth Reddy arrived as he arrived at his party office in Hyderabad after Congress almost sealed the victory.
