In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, a woman walked into a police station on Monday, carrying a suitcase with her mother's body stuffed into it. The woman confessed to having killed her mother and surrendered at the Mico Layout police station.
According to reports, the woman who hails from West Bengal, is a physiotherapist and has living in Bengaluru with her husband and mother for the past few years.
From preliminary investigation, the police said she killed her mother by strangulating her after feeding her 15-20 sleeping pills, Deccan Herald reported. Police also stated that she said that she was angered by the frequent fights between her mother and mother-in-law, who also stays with them in an apartment in Bilekahalli.
The tragic incident happened after a fight on Monday morning. The accused later stuffed her mother's body in a suitcase, kept a photo of her father along with it and drove to the police station in the evening.
