The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting searches at premises related to Agrasen Gehlot, brother of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Friday.

The central investigation agency is conducting searches at premises related to Agrasen in Jodhpur. The Rajasthan CM's brother is accused of exporting large quantities of subsidised fertilisers meant for farmers to foreign countries. Agrasen allegedly exported Muriate of Potash between 2007 and 2009.

The Enforcement Directorate had conducted raids earlier in relation with the case in 2020. Following the searches in 2020, ED charged that Agrasen Gehlot bought the MoP through his firm Anupam Krishi, at a subsidised rate and later sold it at high rates to Malaysia and Vietnam.
