The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday shared a video of the attacks on security personnel by militants and said such killings are in a series of cold-blooded murders of peace-loving Kashmiris.

Titled 'The Untold Kashmir Files', the video is based on the murder of special police officer (SPO) Ishfaq Ahmad and his brother Umer Khan last week.

As per the video, Kashmir has lost 20,000 lives to such targeted killings. “It's time to speak up; will not be silenced; will not forgive,” it said.

Militants shot dead Ahmad near his residence at Chadbugh in Budgam on Saturday night. Umar sustained bullet injuries in the firing. He died at SKIMS Hospital in Srinagar on Sunday.

Vivek Agnihotri, director of the film The Kashmir Files, lauded J&K police for the video and said: "My prayers are with all the victims of terrorism”.

Starring Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi in major roles, the film directed by Agnihotri is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in the 1990s.

Meanwhile, a special screening of the film was held in Jammu with politicians, Army Officers and known Kashmiri Pandits among the invitees.
