The families and the relatives of the principal and teacher at a government school who were slain yesterday by the militant group, The Resistance Front (TRF) staged a protest outside the civil secretariat in Srinagar on Friday.

Satinder Kour and Deepak Chand were shot dead inside government higher secondary school Sangam, Eidgah by TRF on Thursday.

The protesters marched, most of them relatives of Kour, with Kour's body on a stretcher.

They staged a silent protest outside the secretariat to protest the killings.

Senior police officers tried to pacify the protesters and urged them to take Kour's body for cremation.

The family members of Kour however demanded justice and punishment to her killers

Meanwhile, PDP leader Suhail Bukhari in a press conference demanded the resignation of JK LG Monoj Sinha over spurt in civilian killings

Bukhari said Sinha had lost moral authority to govern Jammu and Kashmir.

"For the last two years MHA is directly controlling the situation in JK," he said, " Look what has happened to us today."
