Commander T.K. Praveen appointed Naval Officer in Charge of Lakshadweep

He was Commanding Officer at INS Cuddalore and served onboard INS Delhi

TK-Praveen-lakshadweep Commander T.K. Praveen, who is taking over as Naval Officer in Charge (Lakshadweep)

Commander T.K. Praveen assumed charge as Naval Officer in Charge (Lakshadweep) and Commanding Officer INS Dweeprakshak on 25 Feb 2021 at a well-conducted ceremony held in the Naval Base, Kavaratti.

The officer is a specialist in Communication Networks & Electronic Warfare and is also a qualified Ships Diving Officer, who hails from the district of Alappuzha in Kerala.

The Officer is an alumnus of Sainik School at Kazhakootam, National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla and the Defence Service Staff College at Wellington in Tamil Nadu.

He was Commanding Officer INS Cuddalore and served onboard INS Delhi. He has held many important staff appointments at Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST), Flag Officer Doctrine and Concepts (FODC) and Maritime Warfare Centre (Kochi).
