The BJP has claimed victory in Bihar with Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying "Democracy has once again won in Bihar with the blessings of the people."

In a series of tweets, the prime minister congratulated the workers of NDA and said, "Democracy has once again won in Bihar with the blessings of the people."

"Democracy has once again won in Bihar with the blessings of the people.@BJP4Bihar The determination and dedication with which all NDA workers worked with them is awe-inspiring. I congratulate the workers and express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Bihar," Modi tweeted.

In another tweet, Modi thanked the voters saying every section of Bihar supported the “NDA's mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” and promised that the NDA would work with full dedication for the “balanced development of every person, every region.”

"Village-poor, farmer-laborers, merchant-shopkeepers, every section of Bihar have relied on the NDA's mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'. I again assure every citizen of Bihar that for the balanced development of every person, every region, we will continue to work with full dedication," he said in a tweet in Hindi.

We are satisfied that NDA got an opportunity to give new confidence to people of Bihar, he said in another tweet.

Taking to Twitter, Home Minister Amit Shah said, "Every section of Bihar has once again flagged the development of NDA by denying hollow politics, casteism and appeasement politics," and added that this is the victory of the hopes and aspirations of the Bihari people.

He thanked the people of Bihar for "choosing development, progress and good governance in Bihar."

BJP chief J.P. Nadda congragulated PM Modi for the victory and said, "Under his (Modi) leadership, India will be truly revered as a global power."
