BJP leader Subramanian Swamy had been earning plaudits on Twitter ever since the Supreme Court announced on Wednesday that the CBI would probe the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Since July, Swamy has frequently called for a CBI probe into the death of Sushant, alleging there was foul play involved. Swamy had also alleged a lobby in Bollywood was seeking to cover up the circumstances behind death of Sushant Singh Rajput and singled out the "three Khan Musketeers", referring to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
Swamy is not done with his crusade. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Swamy wants the CBI to take help of Israel's intelligence agencies Mossad and Shin Beth for information into the deaths of Sushant, actor Sridevi in 2018 and Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, in 2014.
Swamy made the comment with respect to the UAE and Israel establishing diplomatic ties. Swamy has been a long-time supporter of India pursuing strong ties with Israel.
Swamy tweeted, "With Israel and UAE Diplomatic Relations, Dubai Dadas from India are in deep trouble. So are the 3 Khan Musketeers. CBI should seek help of Mossad and Shin Beth for information on Sushant, Sridevi and Sunanda murders cases."
Swamy had been outspoken in his accusations against Shashi Tharoor over the death of Sunanda Pushkar, in a hotel suite in Delhi. He was also among the first to bring up the possibility of foul play in the death of Sridevi, who was found dead in a bath tub in a Dubai hotel. Shortly after her death in February 2018, Swamy had told news agency ANI that "illicit relations of actresses" with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim must be investigated. Interestingly, Sunanda Pushkar lived and worked in the UAE.
Swami had previously drawn a Dubai link to the Khan Musketeers. In July, he alleged they had assets in Dubai that needed to be probed. Swamy tweeted, "The assets created by these 3 Khan Musketeers in India and abroad especially in Dubai need to be investigated . Who gifted them bunglows and properties there and how they bought it and the cartelisation needs to be investigated by SIT of ED , IT and CBI. Are they above the law?"
