In what Arunachal CM Pema Khandu described as a 'humble effort' to promote tourism, he undertook a 122 km motorcycle ride to promote tourism in the state. Khandu even posted a video on his Twitter handle.

Watch Khandu take on the hairpins from Yingkiong to Pasighat, on a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 here.

The CM described the adventurous ride a picturesque one. In his Twitter post, the BJP leader called Arunachal a dream destination for biking and adventure sports.

Khandu rode from Yingkiong in Upper Siang district to Pasighat in East Siang district on Sunday to promote the state as a destination for long-distance motorcycle rides, officials said on Monday.

Khandu began the ride from Yingkiong Circuit House at 8 am and reached Pasighat Airport at 10.30 am.
