The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), Panchkula has invited applications from candidates for the posts of constables and sub-inspectors and the registration process begins from June 12. The application form can be filled only online and can be accessed on the official website of the HSSC.

The online registration for the HSSC police constable recruitment 2019 is open from June 12 to June 26. Over 6,000 vacancies for constables in the group C of the department and 400 posts for sub-inspectors have been announced. Of the 6,000 posts, 5,000 vacancies are for male constables and 1,000 for female constables. Age limit for application is 18-25 years.

The application fee is Rs 100 for all general category applicants, except female residents from Haryana as they have to pay only Rs 50 as application fee.

How to apply for HSSC police constable and SI recruitment 2019:

1. Go to the HSSC's official website―hssc.gov.in.

2. Click on the ‘Apply for HSSC Constable and Sub Inspector posts link’.

3. Read the terms and conditions before applying.

4. Create a login ID and password and register.

5. Enter the required details, pay the application fee and upload documents

6. Preview the application before submitting and take a print out for reference.

Applicants should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent recognised education board/institution and should have done matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. Educational qualification for sub-inspector requires graduate degree from a recognised university and matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or more.

Candidates shall have to undergo a Knowledge Test of 80 objective type, multiple choice questions. Candidates who qualify the written test will undergo a physical screening test (PST) followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT) .
