Congress leader Hardik Patel was slapped by an unidentified man at a public meeting in Gujarat on Friday.
Hardik was addressing a gathering at a Jan Aakrosh Sabha in Surendranagar district of Gujarat.
Visuals showed Hardik on stage delivering his speech. A man soon approached the Congress leader from his right and slapped him. The man continued to berate Hardik. Others are seen coming to Hardik's aid and restraining the man.
The man who slapped Hardik Patel has reportedly been detained.
