The Indian Air Force's Sukhoi Su-30MKI reportedly shot down a Pakistani drone along the Rajasthan international border of Bikaner.  According to reports, fighter jets were enagaged around noon when the unidentified object entered Indian air space. Debris of the unmanned aerial vehicle, or the drone, was seen near Nanghatad village in Kutch.

Villagers say they heard a loud sound early in the morning and found the debris of the drone at the spot. A police official confirmed to PTI, "Such an incident has happened. We are investigating the matter.

Strangely, around the same time, numerous Pakistani Twitter handles alleged that Indian fighter jets bombed Fort Abbas in Punjab province, not very far from Bahawalpur where the Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit is allegedly headquartered.

The incident comes in the direct aftermath of sustained tensions between the two countries. At least a dozen IAF Mirage 2000 fighter jets had crossed the border to pound the biggest terror training camp of JeM at Balakot, a move in retaliation to the Pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed.
