The Congress in Kerala on Wednesday appointed veteran party leader and Member of Parliament Mullappally Ramachandran as the new Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president.
Ramachandran will replace M.M. Hassan, who held the post since March 25, 2017.
Along with Ramachandran, K. Sudhakaran, M.I. Shanawaz and K. Suresh were appointed as working presidents by Rahul Gandhi, said a press release from the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
K. Muraleedharan was appointed as chairman of state campaign committee.
