Prakash Raj, who is known for his austere anti-BJP stance, has once again landed in legal trouble, but this time, in a bizarre case. The actor-activist is accused of having mocked cow urine and cow dung and there by hurting the Hindu sentiments!

Kiran N., a Bengaluru-based lawyer, has filed a private complaint in a local court against the actor. The lawyer moved the court since the Hanumanthanagar police failed to take action on his complaint.

"By depicting it (cow excretions) as detergents or washing agents, with malafide intention and ulterior motive to insult the religious feelings of the complainant as well as the entire followers of Hinduism," the petitioner argued, as per reports.

The actor, however, hit back on Tuesday saying attempts are on to portray him as an anti-Hindu.

In a strongly-worded tweet laced with sarcasm, he said: “You..Frustrated..Filthy..Cheap..LIARS. your GAME of just foisting such FAKE CASES..to create an Anti Hindu image of the ME because I dare to question you..and MILK on the hatred you have instilled . How long will your HATE n FAKE politics work ..#justasking try harder COWARDS🤣”
